Avocado Smoothie Recipe: By Hom Yoga

I absolutely love making this avocado smoothie in the mornings at home. It is the perfect mix of everything I love. It took me months and months of trial and error, and taste testing with my 2-year old, Munro, to finally get it right in terms of texture, consistency, sweetness and freshness.

The best thing about this smoothie is that it is made up of a portion of green spinach. A lot of the time, we can easily miss out on eating our greens. With this in your morning routine, you know you have taken care of your green intake, and also feel well-nourished throughout the rest of your day.

Avocado Smoothie


  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1 orange
  • 1 pear
  • 3/4 boxed spinach
  • 1 cup coconut water
  • 8-10 ice cubes


  • Place all ingredients into a blender. Blend until texture is smooth and consistent. (P.S. I love the Magimix Blender)
