Asian-inspired Sweet Sesame Tempeh, Cabbage & Carrot Salad

Salad Ingredients

  • carrots julienned or spiralised

  • 1/4 head purple cabbage finely sliced or shaved

  • 1/2 bunch coriander leaves torn

  • 3 large shallots finely sliced

  • 1/4 cup Superseed Sprinkle

  • 400g tempeh, sliced

  • avocado (optional)

Sweet Tamari Sesame Dressing

  • 1 lemon juice only



  1. Prepare all vegetables as instructed above.

  2. Meanwhile, heat up a medium-sized pan with a little coconut oil, and gently pan-fry the tempeh (approx 3-5 mins each side). Set aside.

  3. Combine cabbage, carrot, coriander and shallots in a large salad bowl.

  4. Next, toss through the seed sprinkle and tempeh. 

  5. If using avocado, chop it on top.

  6. Whisk together all dressing ingredients in a medium bowl with a fork or whisk, or shake together in a jar. Pour over salad when ready to serve. Enjoy!
